Blantyre’s new library has now been set up in the Blantyre Sports Centre reception area. A few people have asked when it’s open. It’s available to use from 8am until 8pm on weekdays and 8am to 5pm at weekends. Open 7 days a week.
The facility will provide a community local book-lending facility, along with services including printing and photocopying, following the closure of the area’s previous dedicated library building at Clydeview shopping centre.
Staff will be on hand for assistance and for printing services from 9.15am and 12.30pm, and 1.30pm to 5.30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 9.15am to 12.15pm on a Thursday.
Please note printing services are only available during staffed hours, but photocopying is available throughout opening hours.
