Major Outages today saw over 1,000 well known companies lose their webs services. Disruption was caused for many millions of customers around the world.
Amazon Web Services says it has now fixed the underlying problem that has disrupted many of the world’s biggest websites and apps, but says there are still “significant errors” for some services.
Some of the businesses and organisations affected included HMRC, Reddit, Roblox, Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland, Playstation, Grok, Snapchat, Fortnite, Alexa, Starbucks, Ring Doorbells, Canvas, Lyft, Amazon, Coinbase, Duolingo, Wall Street Journal, New York Times.
