French media report that two suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of valuable crown jewels from Paris’s Louvre Museum.
According to the Paris prosecutor’s office, one of the men was detained at Charles de Gaulle Airport as he prepared to board a flight.
The stolen items, estimated to be worth around €88 million (£76 million; $102 million), were taken last Sunday when four masked thieves armed with power tools broke into the world’s most-visited museum in broad daylight.
