Some muppet has spray painted the Blantyre Works Heritage display at David Livingstone centre with obscene graffiti. It’s sad to see our beautiful and historic spaces being brought down aesthetically by bored idiots.
It takes a partially mindless individual with incredibly low values to spend the time to do such acts of deliberate vandalism. Speaking to a passer by at the centre earlier, one dog walker told us, “What’s been sprayed just says it all about what kind of person who did this! Such desperate acts, which cause volunteers to spend their time cleaning up, belong in the past and simply aren’t welcome at all in Blantyre.”
CCTV will be reviewed and cleaned up. Ultimately their actions were a senseless, absolute waste of their time and paint. Shame on the person who did this.
