Mist and fog will be slow to clear for some on New Year’s Eve morning. Plenty of sunshine around this, however. It will become cloudy and breezy in the afternoon with patchy rain arriving by evening.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday
On New Year’s Day, it will be partly cloudy, but there will be bright spells as well. Mostly dry for all, but some snow flurries cannot be ruled out at times under the northerly flow. Windy. Colder on Friday with plenty of wintry sunshine. Remaining dry and windy. Saturday will remain similarly, with patches of cloud pushing in from the north at times but remaining dry.
