We were deeply saddned to hear of the passing of popular Blantyre man, Samuel Anderson.
Samuel was also known as “Wee Sam” and was a regular on the Blantyre Darts Scene and often frequented his local at Carrigans, Blantyre. He was 85 and passed peacefully at Hairmyers Hospital on Monday 16th February. Funeral details are now known.
There will be a service at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at Sydes Brae, High Blantyre on Tuesday, 3rd March at 12 o’clock for anyone wishing to pay their respects.
Wee Sam was some character, a wee cheeky ‘chappy’ who will be sorely missed by all his neighbours & friends especially in Glenfruin Road. Our thoughts are with all his family at this sad time.
