It’s with sadness we learned of the passing of lcal woman Janette Downie.
Born in 1963, Janette sadly passed away on 28th February 2026, aged 62 years.
Kirsty and Charlene (daughters) have announced the funeral and would like to thank Smiths, particularly Lisa who has provided such amazing support to the family at this difficult time.
For those wishing to pay their respects, Janette’s funeral will take place on Thursday 19th March, 10am at Blantyre Old Parish Church thereafter to South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 11am.
Our thoughts are very much with all of Janette’s family during this sad time.
