Weekend Weather Outlook

Today, Saturday 7th March will see a cold and frosty start to the day in Lanarkshire, quickly lift as bright morning sunshine is here to stay. Temperatures will steadily rise and expected even to get up to double digits in the sun by lunchtime. It should remain bright and sunny for most of the daylight hours.

Tonight, remaining dry with largely clear skies will again be a repeat of last night with temperatures dropping sharply, though a few patches of mist and fog will form in places. Another chilly night.

Sunday

Tomorrow morning will see bright spells around any early mist and fog, though cloud cover will thicken into the afternoon. Staying dry.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday

Monday will be cloudy with intermittent light rain, and some mist and fog on the hills. Cloud looks to break up a little overnight, and it should turn largely dry. On Tuesday, it will become increasingly cloudy again, with a band of rain pushing through from the west overnight, along with strengthening winds. Wednesday looks to stay windy with variable cloud and showers.
