Fences came down earlier in the week and the TWO brand new playparks at High Blantyre’s Kirkton Park are now open!
The council have built 2 new play areas, in a more central location in the park away from homes. One is a small play area for younger children, complete with new hardstanding and paths. The other area for older kids has an array of excellent state of the art play equipment including swings and climbing frames, including equipment for disabled children.
Great to finally see some meaningful investment directed towards Blantyre! Work had been ongoing for several months but the park is looking great this week including some freshly cut grass!
