It’s with sadness we learned about the recent passing of local man, Nigel George Shanks. Well known and much respected, he was 67 years old.
Nigel’s funeral is at South Lanarkshire Crematorium this Friday 26th June at 11pm followed by his wake at the Blantyre Miners Welfare on Calder Street.
The Shanks family are naturally devastated over the passing of Nigel. He truly was a character of Blantyre and was simply the best! Anyone wishing to pay tribute is more than welcome to attend. Our thoughts are with Nigel’s family and friends at this sad time.
