We’ve received a couple of messages about the overgrown shrubs and bushes at the Auchinraith Roundabout, High Blantyre.
As often happens in Summer at this location, growth has extended out into the road by a couple, reducing the width of the road lane and impeding visibility around the corner. It’s now becoming a safety concern as drivers swerve to avoid the growth, having to take the sharp corner in a manner it wasn’t intended.
The entire area could do with harshly being cut back by a few feet. If representatives of the council including any roads staff, managers or Councillors are reading this, please can this be reported in this week.
