New Blantyre Group supporting Wellbeing and Connections

A welcoming new community group is starting in Blantyre, offering friendship, activities and support for adults who may be living with life-shortening conditions, frailty or social isolation.

Kilbryde Hospice’s Compassionate Communities – Loving Life Group will meet every Tuesday from 10.30am until 2.30pm at Blantyre Miners Welfare Social Club, G72 0AU.

The hospice-funded group offers a relaxed and friendly environment with plenty to get involved in, including instructor-led classes, chair yoga, seated exercise, games and complementary therapies.

And, of course, there will also be plenty of time for a cuppa, snacks and a good chat! ☕🍪

The aim is to bring people together, encourage gentle activity and help improve wellbeing while reducing loneliness and social isolation.

Best of all, it’s completely FREE to attend.

Organisers are encouraging local people who think they, a relative, friend or neighbour could benefit to simply come along and see what the group is all about.
