The swimming pool and health suite at Blantyre Leisure Centre remains closed due to an issue with the air handling unit. But an update is now available….
This morning, we received an update that the contractors appointed by South Lanarkshire Council are advising that the essential repair work will continue throughout next week. While they are working hard to allow reopening as soon as possible, the pool and health suite are expected to remain closed until at least next weekend.
In a statement online this afternoon , South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture said, “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank customers for their patience and understanding while these works are completed. We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.”
All other areas of the leisure centre, including the library, remain open and continue to operate as normal.
