The requiem mass for John Fallon will occur on Monday, August 11, at 10 am at St. Joseph’s RC Church, Blantyre. He will be received into the church on Sunday, August 10, at 5:30 pm. Our deepest condolences go to his family. John lived from August 16, 1940, to July 22, 2025.

Former Celtic goalkeeper John Fallon, a key member of the 1967 European Cup-winning squad known as the Lisbon Lions, has passed away at 84. A respected figure in Blantyre, he also owned Fallons Bar on Glasgow Road. Our condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.
