Hugh Guy Snr, a prominent Driving Instructor in Blantyre, passed away on August 23rd in Millport after a short illness, surrounded by family. His funeral is scheduled for September 11th at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Millport, at 12 noon. We extend our condolences to his family during this difficult time.
Local woman Janet Flynn passed away at the age of 86 on August 7th at Ryan Meadows care home. Her funeral is scheduled for September 4th at 10 am at St Joseph’s, Glasgow Road, Blantyre, followed by services at South Lanarkshire crematorium and Blantyre Miners Welfare.
