Remembering Agnes Douglas

The funeral service for Agnes Douglas of Blantyre will take place on Friday, 15th May, at 1pm at Blantyre Old Parish Church, followed by cremation at Daldowie Crematorium at 2pm. Family and friends are invited to attend as they remember Agnes during this difficult time.

Remembering Margaret Quinn

Margaret Quinn of Blantyre’s funeral will be held at St Joseph’s RC Church on May 10th at 5:30pm, followed by a Funeral Mass on May 11th at 10am. The service will conclude at South Lanarkshire Crematorium at 11am. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Remembering Annette Whyte

Annette Whyte passed away on April 19, 2026. Her funeral mass will be held on May 6 at 10 am at St Joseph’s RC Church in Blantyre, with a reception into the church on May 5 at 6 pm. Condolences are encouraged for her sister Moira, brother Hughie, and the family.

Remembering Daniel Hampsey

Daniel Hampsey, a Blantyre native who later lived in Burnbank, passed away on Sunday, April 26th. He was known affectionately as Dane and remembered by many from the Smiddy Pub. Funeral arrangements are pending, and our condolences go out to Daniel’s family during this difficult time.
