The Big Garden Birdwatch is a free event from January 24th to 26th, encouraging everyone to count birds from their homes or local parks. This helps the RSPB assess the health of UK bird populations, which have decreased significantly. Nearly 400,000 participants are already involved in this important conservation effort.
