An 11-year-old student, Ava McBain, won a design competition for a new flag representing Bothwell. Her flag, featuring a map of the Clyde and Bothwell Castle, was selected from over 200 entries. The initiative, part of Bothwell Parish Church’s 625th anniversary, fosters community pride and historical connection.
