The Greenhall Park wall in South Lanarkshire has been damaged for a while, leading to an emergency footpath closure on March 26. Its repair is overdue, as it is a prominent feature for visitors entering the town from the East. The community urges the council to allocate funds for its restoration this Summer.
Several large trees have fallen at Greenhall Park, High Blantyre, following Storm Eowyn. The aftermath includes trees blocking roads and falling into the park. The cleanup will require significant effort from the council, indicating that the park’s appearance will change as a result of the storm’s impact.
Just to let all local farmers know, there are 4 sheep this morning in Greenhall Park, High Blantyre. Seeing sheep there is unusual, so presumably they’ve escaped from a nearby field. Hope this post helps the owners.
