Blantyre Leisure Centre Pool Closure Update

The Blantyre Leisure Centre pool has been closed again, starting from January 26th. Residents express frustration over lack of updates on closures during operating hours. Customers demand transparency from SLLC, including a statement from the CEO regarding the frequency of closures and a strategic plan for the desperately needed improvement of the facility.

Blantyre Pool Closure

Code Brown! Blantyre Leisure Centre swimming pool has had to be closed today, Friday 17 January 2020, due to an ‘accidental contamination’. Unfortunately the pool is unlikely to open again until 6.30am on Tuesday 21 January in line with procedures for such instances. South Lanarkshire Council apologise for any inconvenience during the closure.
