Stonefield Road is closed between Valerio Court and Calder Street from Friday 26 April for emergency manhole repairs. South Lanarkshire Council are working at Dalwhinnie Avenue, Priory Bridge, Blantyre tomorrow. Carriageway patching works commence Wednesday 10th April 2024 and will last for 3 working days. Disruption will be minimal with residents access maintained. Carriageway Patching Ref HM25/68.
Following the last 2 disruptive weeks of roadworks, Main Street in High Blantyre is now all clear. The final road closure restriction was thankfully lifted yesterday Thursday 28th March 2024 with the road open as normal between Craigmiur Road and Nairn Street junctions.
The slip road at Auchinraith on to the A725 East Kilbride Expressway (as if heading to EK) is closed this weekend. This is the exit coming off Auchinraith Roundabout at High Blantyre.
