A little advance notice, that drivers should take care and slow down at Bardykes Road, Blantyre due to current traffic management works.
Traffic light controls are currently placed around the newly renovated ‘Barnhill Tavern’ until Tuesday to allow for safe painting of the exterior and the pub’s brand new signage going up.
In a huge nod to local heritage, the former Hoolets pub will re-open very soon officially as “The Barnhill Tavern“, a name steeped in history and of course the original name of the popular public house. Further announcements about the opening will be provided here on Blantyre Telegraph early this week.
