Wear Yellow Walk

Primary 7 pupils from many Lanarkshire Schools took part in the 20th annual Wear Yellow Walk at Strathclyde Park on Wednesday 1st May. DJ, George Bowie provided his GBX Experience as a thank you to all the pupils who raised vital funds for St Andrew’s Hospice.

Strathclyde Park Watersports Centre

Plans have been approved for the redevelopment of the Watersports Centre at Strathclyde Country Park. A new ground floor waterfront cafe with improved reception and changing facilities and bookable spaces is to be built. The building will be super eco friendly, including heat pumps and solar panels. Construction date is presently unknown.
