‘It’s a Knockout’ Challenge for Kilbryde Hospice and Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research
Two local East Kilbride residents, Lindsay Collumb and Clare Morrison, are holding ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge and Family Fun Day this Saturday 1st August at the Stonefield Park in Blantyre (G72 0AA). The girls have arranged this event themselves in order to raise vital funds for Kilbryde Hospice and Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.
On the day the main event will be the ‘It’s a Knockout’ challenge where teams will be competing over large inflatable objects. Entry for children is free and adults are £2. The event will run from 11am-5pm and the teams will be running at two separate times, the first round of teams at 11 am and the second lot of teams at 2-30pm. Teams are still available for this event! There will also be a bouncy castle, rodeo bull, sumo suits, bungee run, face painter, burger van and ice cream van so if you’re looking for a great day out with the family then why not head down.
A tombola will be held on the day which has been supported by many local businesses these include; The Kittoch, The Westwood Bar, Animal Magic, The Montgomerie Arms, The Taj Palace, The Whitehill’s Farm, Energie Fitness, Elite Barbers, Grants Flower Shop, Muffin Break and Zuccas.
