At an exclusive event being held at the Miner’s Welfare on Friday 16th October 2015, a fantastic race-night fundraiser will raise funds for Blantyre’s Festive Switch on Event later in the year. Invites are by ticket only which are priced at just £5 each (plus a small 38p Paypal processing fee). The event promises loads of fun, entertainment with bar drinks and food available to buy. Blantyre Race Night is over 18’s only and tickets are on a first come, first served basis, available to buy online only using Blantyre Telegraph’s Paypal, here:

Anybody buying tickets using this link, will have their name recorded and the amount of tickets reserved for them at the door on the actual night.
A spokesperson for the Committee exclusively told Blantyre Telegraph, “We know how to organise a great event for Blantyre. Building on the success of the Gala day, we expect this Race night to be a sell out, with funds raised all going towards putting on a Festive show later in the year that will see Blantyre amazed and entertained! Its a great opportunity for friends, colleagues and family all to get together and enjoy what Blantyre does best! A social gathering! People will need to be fast to get their Race night tickets. We’re super excited about this event, which promises loads of fun, good company and entertainment, all for a marvellous great cause. Just what the darker nights need.“
