As Halloween approaches, we thought we’d treat the kids at High Blantyre Primary School to some Halloween treats and goodies. Today, as the school was closing, we dropped by and handed in £50 worth of sweets, crisps, kwenchy cups and Halloween decorations.
Pictured is High Blantyre’s head teacher and her staff in the school reception. The gift was graciously received and a surprise to all. Thank you to everybody who bought Blantyre Telegraph Newspaper during October, who made this possible. We’ll be bringing you more donation stories of various individuals and organisations who have benefited from our newspaper sales, later this weekend.
