We’re pleased to have presented a gift to the David Livingstone Centre today, in the form of 15 beautiful black and white quality prints. Each feature old scenes of Blantyre and are framed, ready to hang on the wall.
Along with supplied wall fixings, this gift was made possible due to ongoing fundraising efforts and in particular noting a kind financial donation from Mr Thomas Martin who lives in Canada. We’ve topped up Thomas’s donation up to £100 and the prints are now in the safe hands of DLC staff.
This sees the first of several donations throughout Blantyre being made this week. Look out for these prints in the cafe or around the Africa Pavilion in due course.
