A local lady made a grim discovery at Greenhall this week.
Whilst out walking at the Greenhall Woodlands in High Blantyre she discovered what appears to be skinned animal pelts. Likely of a deer, this comes a year or so after actual deer caucuses were found in the area.
We’re not sure if this was part of an organised cull, something legal, organised or indeed if it was something not permitted at all. We would seek advice from readers in a position to be able to offer more advice.
Meantime, we ask the general public to leave such finds alone but if numerous, to contact environmental health at South Lanarkshire Council.
