Heavy Traffic
Please avoid the EK Expressway if you can. Shortly before 10am this morning, Tuesday 2 April 2019, a traffic incident occurred not far from Bothwell Bridge.
It’s on the East Kilbride Expressway westbound at Bothwell, blocking the inside lane. Traffic is heavy on approach.
Traffic Scotland initially reported an accident, but in the last 5 minutes have reposted with this photo, indicating a breakdown. This does conflict with received messages this morning suggesting the vehicle was facing the opposite direction.
We hope anybody involved is ok.
