We’ve been SO impressed by High Blantyre’s Youth club, Hyper Cyber over the last fortnight especially seeing all the many incredible things they put on for the kids to do during their recent School Holidays.
George Campbell, Kerry Walker, Ginem Anderson and Anthony Mcsorley as volunteers put on a full programme of fun activities, keeping the kids amused and occupied on a daily basis!
They’ve been baking cakes, making Easter Cards, a Morocco Day learning about culture and food, an arts and crafts day and learning about fire safety.
They’ve been out and about too, making use of the good weather. Daytrips included a visit to a working farm, the Wrestling in Hamilton, Easter Egg Hunts, BBQs in the park, a visit to the Rural Life Museum, a trip to Summerlee Heritage Park where the kids went down a mine and a brilliant litterpick!
The kids have clearly had a great time. SUPER impressive and just exactly what Blantyre needs.
