Tributes come in
The man who tragically died last weekend in the River Clyde near Blantyre Weir is now identified as 30 year old, Ryan Mulrooney.

It would be amiss of us not to mention the dangers at this stretch of water on the River Clyde. It can catch even the most competent of swimmers off guard. Over 40 people have sadly lost their lives in the last Century at that location including many children.
Rest in Peace Ryan. Our thoughts go out to everybody who knew him.
