The renovation of Crossbasket during the last decade certainly put High Blantyre back on map, but the next phase of their exciting plans is sure to get noticed by people all over Scotland and beyond.
Crossbasket is planning a luxury hotel extension and brand new spa with plans will be unveiled to the public next week!
The proposed development will sit on newly acquired land surrounding the luxury 5 star Crossbasket Castle, land which once again pieces back the estate as it formerly was centuries ago. Bordering on to the Calder River, adjacent to Greenhall plans include the creation of hotel and spa with associated access, car parking, landscaping and other associated works.
We’ve been privileged to know about the plans for some time and watched on as land and property was acquired in recent years in readiness for this next phase, with several updates keeping us in the loop.
Public Open Day
However, plans are now public with planning to be submitted and the announcement of an open day next week, to reveal plans to the public, as part of a consultation process.
YOU can come along to see for yourself. The associated consultation drop in event will take place on Wednesday 30th October 2019 from 2pm to 7pm at James Little Hall, Crossbasket Castle, Stoneymeadow Road, High Blantyre, G72 9UE.
As well as taking a look at the latest interesting proposals, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and provide comments.
We never thought we’d see the day where a spa is proposed in Blantyre, but there you go!
