Things have been tough for local lady Catherine Robertson lately. Tougher than most of what the rest of us are going through.
Catherine found herself in hospital in Hairmyres battling Covid19 and of course her family could not get in to wish her well or visit. It was a tough time for Catherine and her family.
So earlier in the week, her daughter and granddaughter decided to visit the carpark in Hairmyres, picking a vantage spot to unfurl a banner which Catherine could see. It was a message of support. Of Love. Designed to provide a lift to Catherine’s spirts.
Tonight, we’re pleased to say it looks like their tactics worked. A few days on, Catherine is feeling better and cleared for discharge from hospital now able to return home! Wishing her well with a continued recovery.
