With Christmas only 5 days away, this weekend was the perfect time to spread some Christmas cheer in Blantyre and that’s exactly what ‘Chase the Rainbow’ did yesterday!
Volunteers from ‘Chase the Rainbow Blantyre’ thrilled hundreds of local families by taking the streets in a wonderful decorated float, dressed up as Christmas characters. Of course, they were joined by Santa himself!
The float toured around Blantyre as darkness fell yesterday, Saturday 19th December on an extensive tour of local streets lighting up the cold, winter night. Children gazed out windows and doors and needless to say the float was a great success!
Festive celebrations have been limited this year due to the pandemic, so thanks to everybody at Chase the Rainbow who made this happen! Well done!
