South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture have issued an update about the opening of the pool and its back to opening next week.
The pool was initially due to open on Wednesday coming, but slipped until the following Monday. Now, a latest message this morning brings opening back to the earlier Wednesday. A spokesperson said.,
“More news on opening our pool at Blantyre. We know it has been a bit up and down lately and a bit like the hokey cokey we’ve been in and out……but we are pleased to say we are now in a position to open our pool for general swimming on Wednesday 10th November. Our sauna will also be open but the steam room will remain closed.
We will be in touch soon regarding a start date for our swimming lessons but aiming for 15th November.”
