There’s various roadworks going on around Blantyre this week.
One of the more significant setups are the temporary traffic lights at High Blantyre Cross. Scottish Water are working to correct defective manhole covers, from today Wednesday 27th April 2022.
Work may take up to 3 days and the lights have been causing some disruption for drivers today with queues forming at Douglas Street, Hunthill Road and especially on Main Street.
