4 way temporary traffic lights are still up on Stonefield Road, Blantyre as works continue by Scottish Power.
Some disruption for drivers is to be expected as traffic lights are causing queues at Stonefield Road’s junction with Glenfruin Road whilst contractors excavate for a new supply. However, with the schools now off from this afternoon and work well progressed, an end is in sight, with the equipment and roadworks expected to be removed by the end of this working week.
Other roadworks on Stonefield Road are taking place on pavements at the corner of Kinnoul Place and Stonefield Road, but shouldn’t affect vehicles.
