Calderside Academy Exam Success

It has yet again been another very successful year for Calderside Academy pupils in their recent SQA Examinations. At all levels, pupils performed very well.

S4 in particular have shown good improvement. In S4, 29 of pupils achieved passes in 7 National 5 subjects, 4 of whom achieved 7 A passes at this level. The performance at Higher Level has been sustained in the number of pupils gaining 1 and 3 Higher passes.

A special mention should go to the 19 pupils who achieved 5 Higher passes in S5, four of whom achieved 5 A passes at this level. All of these were excellent achievements.

The school staff are delighted with the performance of the young people in S4, S5 and S6. Mr Dodds, Head Teacher said “I am delighted with the continued successes of our young people. Their results reflect their own hard work and the excellent opportunities and support provided by the teaching staff in Calderside Academy.
