Local lad, George Hamilton is the 52kg Scottish Development Champion!
George, who is 14 years old was boxing in his 52kg final where he met Riley Henderson from Jonesy’s ABC. George boxed well, landing clean heavy shots and not rising to or getting caught up in any scrappy fighting! George won every round out the park and impressed the judges to come away with a unanimous decision win!
Blantyre Miners ABC commented, “This is George’s first tournament for Blantyre miners abc and it’s well said it won’t be his last! Enjoy this win kid you have worked hard to get it! We will see you on Tuesday to go again”
