Blantyre Volunteer Ltd are urgently recruiting for new volunteer drivers, to support their Community Transport Organisation which operates from a base in Blantyre and covers most of Lanarkshire.
The organisation told Blantyre Telegraph, “We provide transport to a wide range of community groups and organisations including those working with the disabled, elderly, young people and other vulnerable groups.”
“If you enjoy driving and meeting people, are aged between 25 and 70 with a full driving licence (D1 preferred) and are able to commit to a few hours per week to help people in your community, this could be the opportunity for you!“
