With a focus on youth employment, QA Scotland today announces the opening of 8 new technical apprenticeship positions for 16–19-year-olds in Blantyre who can travel into Glasgow city centre
Working in partnership with city centre employers, including CMS one of Scotland’s leading law firms, who are promoting three of the opportunities, QA is promoting 8 exciting Technical Support Apprenticeships with an exclusive Recruitment and Selection Day on Monday 18th December.
“If you are interested in building a career for a reputable company, this is a great career opportunity,” says David Cunningham of QA, “It may be that want to start an apprenticeship, earn a wage while gaining a qualification, and kick start a technical career. All our employers have been chosen because they are within easy reach by public transport links so check what is on offer.”

CMS are inviting young people who are ready for employment now to join them on Monday 18th December at QA’s headquarters in Renfield Street, where they can explore the tech industry, learn what it is like to be an apprentice, and even secure interviews on the spot.
There will be a workshop explaining the apprenticeship, an opportunity to speak with the trainer and the employer, an introduction to the role and a selection panel for those who would like to be considered.
If successful, you’ll be joining an industry-leading law firm that cares for its staff, customers, local community and the global environment.
“If you have not yet decided on your future, or if you are in an interim job, waiting for the right opening, then it may be that an apprenticeship is the way forward. says David Cunningham. “And if you think you don’t have any relevant qualifications or experience, that is not a barrier, with an apprenticeship you learn on the job.”
