Commuters take care. There’s currently (as of 6pm) a car broken down in the inside lane of the A725 East Kilbride Expressway, just after Ireland Alloys. Northbound, as if heading for Raith.
Queues have formed back to Auchinraith Roundabout at High Blantyre as traffic converge into the fast lane to get past. Police are in attendance. Hopefully nobody injured.
The road is still passable, but delays are likely.
