Sometimes the scene in front of you can make you stop for a moment. That happened yesterday when we visited Crossbasket Castle in High Blantyre.
A beautiful, luxurious wedding venue at the best of times, it was the lovely new trellis walkways which caught our eye. Immaculately tended, these featured new arched frames, draped in ivy, climbing plants and subtly lit, are true to the owners and architect’s vision, creating a stunning walkway linking the old Crossbasket building to the new. Walking up to the doorway even from the carpark, was like stepping into a fairytale!
We’ve been following the exciting plans about the new Crossbasket development closely and will be posting more about what’s coming soon in the coming months.
