Be careful if you use Facebook and get an apparent message from somebody you know which says, “Did you get a code?” or “Did you get the code? xx”. These are phishing attempts to get you to engage in conversation and are caused by the person giving an app access to messenger.
If you’re worried seeing a message like this sent from your OWN account, go into Facebook settings, and looks for Apps and see what you have enabled, choosing to disable anything you don’t recognise.
