Right to Ask

PC Ferguson from the Domestic Abuse Safeguarding Team and PC Sweeney from the Preventions Team held a safety stall in ASDA, Blantyre today.

The team were sharing advice on general safety and the Disclosure Scheme (DSDAS). The Disclosure Scheme for Domestic Abuse Scotland (DSDAS) is a policy in Scotland that allows individuals to ask the police if their partner has a history of domestic abuse or violent behaviour. The scheme aims to provide potentially vulnerable people with information that may help them make informed decisions about their safety and relationship.
