A man has been charged after a lorry veered off the A74(M) motorway near Gretna, crashing onto a train line and causing significant delays.
Emergency services responded to the concerning scene around 8 a.m this morning, Friday 13th December. The 29-year-old driver was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary as a precaution. The southbound carriageway was reduced to one lane, with the junction 22 slip road closed for lorry recovery. Police are managing traffic while investigations continue.
