Now that the festive season is well and truly over, Roadworks are once again commencing all over Lanarkshire.
We’ve reported on this previously, so as a reminder, Hillhouse Road (Eastbound) will be closed this week. Between Douglas Street and Technology Avenue at High Blantyre from 9.00pm to 6.00am nightly from Monday 13 January to Wednesday 15 January.
This will particularly affect residents in nearby areas like Westcraigs, other parts of High Blantyre and Hillhouse.
Work taking place will be for anti-skid installation. Diversions will be via Hillhouse Road Roundabout, Douglas Street, Main Street Blantyre, East Avenue, Hillhouse Road, as such you can expect these roads to be busier than normal during those times.
