It was a fantastic weekend for Blantyre boxers with special note to the lads at Blantyre Miners ABC, O Neils and Priestfield Boxing Clubs.

Well done to Blantyre Miners ABC new 57kg Scottish Champion, George Hamilton. A great performance against a tough lad from Glenrothes ABC to take the fight by unanimous decision. 3 fights in 1 weeks after 18 months out the ring. With thanks to coaches Drew and Mark.

At O’Neils, Scottish Alliance open class championships update. Jack Mcgonigle lost his contest today against a boy from Ayr boxing club. Harris Boyle lost a close contest against Cole Campbell but boxed well and was giving away a year in age.
