Ben McGoldrick became the Western District Champion after a competitive fight against Tristan Phibey, winning by a close 3/2 decision. Both boxers received praise for their performances.
Callum Bell from Blantyre has won the Western District light heavyweight title for the fourth time while boxing for The Unit ABC in Lesmahagow. Additionally, he received the Rab Bannan memorial award for best youth boxer. The club is proud of his achievements as he prepares for senior competitions in January.
Thirteen-year-old Cole Higgins has become the first Novice Champion from East Kilbride Boxing Academy after winning the Boxing Scotland Novice Championships. His journey, marked by just two years of training, has transformed him from a shy boy into a champion, inspiring young athletes in Lanarkshire. He aims for further competitions.
