Blantyre man, Rab Moore if running a half Marathon on the 5th of October in the Great Glasgow run and has a very special cause.
Its in aid of Suicide awareness especially in young guys who feel its their only option. Rab told us, “I’ve been affected by suicide. I lost a close family member to this, 7 years ago aged just 29.”
It’s a tragedy that people, especially men get to this point in their life that they feel there is no way out. Rab has set up a fundraising page where people can support his efforts, with proceeds going to established charity ‘Chris’s House’.
Chris’s House is a Centre of Help, Response and Intervention Surrounding Suicide and has been set up to offer a safe environment where people in crisis may have a respite from their current unwellness, by finding refuge in Chris’s House.
Rab added, “You can help by making a small donation. It would be greatly appreciated. “

A worthwhile cause, we’ve donated £50 towards this target.
