Fireworks Warning across Scotland

As Bonfire Night approaches, Safer Scotland and the Scottish Government are reminding everyone that it’s illegal to set off fireworks before 6pm or after 11pm — with the only exception being midnight on 5th November.

These laws are in place to protect communities, pets, and emergency services from unnecessary risk and disruption. Anyone caught ignoring the rules could face fines or prosecution, so please celebrate responsibly and plan ahead.

🎇 Let’s keep Bonfire Night enjoyable, safe, and respectful for all.

Should stricter controls be introduced on the public sale of fireworks in Scotland?
